Veteran's Park

Veteran's Park is located at 10 NE 8th Ave, Grand Rapids, MN.

The park has many amenities including playgrounds, two separate pavilions, bathroom facilities, grills, drinking fountain, a dog park, and approximately 2.2 miles of multi use trails with a view of the Mississippi River.  Pavilions can be reserved through our Facility Reservations process.  If you would like to reserve both pavilions for your event, you will need to submit two reservation requests identifying each pavilion individually.

Cost for pavilion rental is $25.00 per pavilion/per reservation and must be received within five (5) business days from date of approval. 
                                   IMPORTANT:  Reservation will be canceled if payment is not received within five (5) days of approval. 

ALCOHOL CONSUMPTION: 

Chapter 46, Subdivision 3 of the Grand Rapids Municipal Code states:  It shall be lawful for persons who are 21 years of age, or older, to consume alcohol upon the following city-owned properties: Veteran's Park, the Grand Rapids Sports Complex, the Pokegama Golf Course, and Legion Field. The city parks and recreation department shall place any and all restrictions upon said consumption of alcohol they deem appropriate to protect public safety and the integrity of city-owned property. Violation of this section shall constitute a misdemeanor offense which shall be punishable by 90 days in jail and a fine of not more than $1,000.00.
