The City provides its residents and businesses a full range of municipal services related to public safety (police and fire), public works, parks and recreation, development, and administrative services. The City operates an ice arena, golf course, and library. These services are provided by quality staff, including 90 full-time and part-time employees, 30 paid-on-call (volunteer) firefighters and 80 seasonal and temporary workers (mostly in recreational programs).
