420 N. POKEGAMA AVENUE

The Public Right-Of-Way (ROW) means the area on, below, or above a public roadway, highway, street, alley, cartway, bicycle lane, or public sidewalk which the City maintains or otherwise has an interest, and other easements dedicated to the public or to use for utility service. The public right-of-way does not include the airwaves with regard to nonwire telecommunications or broadcast services.

Permits are needed for any work within the City's Public Right-Of Way.

Deposits and inspections are required with all permits.  See the permit application for specific information.

A one-time, non-refundable application fee of $50.00 will be charged for individual permits issued.  Any permits applied for after the fact will be charged double the application fee.  This fee covers the cost of permit reviews and field inspections of rehabilitation sites.

The Right-of-Way Ordinance was adopted by the City Council on January 10th, 2005 and it provides you with necessary information needed to perform work.

ADA requirements must be followed for all work completed within City Right of Way.

As we continue to further develop our Permit Portal please feel free to email the City Engineer or GIS Coordinator with any enhancement requests.  If there are specific questions regarding the functionality of the Permit Portal please contact the GIS Coordinator with any inquiries.
