D.A.R.E Spaghetti Fundrasier
Itasca County Drug Abuse Resistance Education (D.A.R.E.) invites the public to its annual spaghetti dinner fundraiser on March 26, 2017. This year, as in past years, the event will take place at the Eagle’s Club, 1776 South Pokegama Avenue, from 11:00 am till 6:00 pm.
There will be drawings for bicycles, door prizes, a silent auction and more. With the purchase of a meal ticket for $5.00 you will receive a filling portion of spaghetti with meat balls, bread roll, coleslaw, a cookie and juice. Take-out and delivery is available. Tickets can be purchased at the door or from any fifth grade student.
Proceeds from the event will be used to offset expenses for the annual trip to Target Field for all Itasca County D.A.R.E. fifth graders. This trip to a Minnesota Twins baseball game will take place on May 7th.
Law enforcement officers from across the county invite you to come out in support of the DARE program and enjoy the spaghetti dinner. To learn more please contact Grand Rapids Police Sergeant Heath Smith at (218) 326-3464.
